Yogyakarta is a bustling town of some half a million people and the most popular tourist destination on Java, largely thanks to its proximity to the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan. The town is a hub of art and education, offers some good shopping and has a wide range of tourist facilities.
The event are intended to introduce Indonesian Culture, by visiting famous tourist attraction in Yogyakarta such as Keraton Yogyakarta, Taman Sari, Prambanan temple, Borobudur temple, Malioboro and also tasted traditional food of Yogyakarta.
This tour program will involve students in activity with locals such as farming, learn from nature, learn history, learn local culture.

Highlights – “Arrival Jogyakarta – Prambanan Temple tour + Evening City Tour
Arrival at Adi Sucipto airport of Jogyakarta – greet and meet – check in hotel or direct visiting the magnificent Prambanan Hindu temple. This temple is believed to have been built by King Balitung Maha Sambu during the middle of the ninth century. Its parapets are adorned with a bas relief’s depicting the famous Ramayana Ballet.

DAY 02: B/L/D
Highlights – “Borobudur Tour + Village Life Experience + River Studies & Kubrosiswo
1 hour from Yogyakarta drive to Borobudur temple. A Buddhist temple, located 42 km west of Yogyakarta. It is one of the world’s most famous temples, standing majestic and serene on a hillock overlooking lush green fields and distant hills. The shrine is the worlds and most complete collection of Buddhist relief
Just about 7 minutes from the temple, drive to the nearest village of Borobudur for experiencing and exploring the rural village life. This village offers us traditional Javanese hospitality, unspoiled village, serenity and still keep the hidden evidence which prove the existence of a vast lake surrounding the three holy Buddhist temple, Borobudur ,Pawon and Mendut and ever buried by the volcanic deposits during the horrible eruption of Mount Merapi in 10 eras or 1000 years ago as well with Borobudur temple.
By Dokar horse carriage exploring the richness of Candirejo village to gain insight of old houses with its Javanese typical architecture, daily local community either in customs, traditions, art and handy craft as well the agricultural system of inter cropping.

River with its unique stream and stones geologically .
Still in the same village, students will practice how to play gamelan the Javanese traditional instrument and followed by Kubrosiswo dance practice.

Highlights – “Merapi Volcano + Tropical Rainforest Kaliurang + Sultan Palace + Taman Sari
Water Castle + Batik & Silver Work + Band Practise”
Kaliurang village lies on the slope of Mount Merapi, one of the active volcanoes found in Indonesia. Located in tranquil, lush and green tropical garden. When the weather is clear, a spectacular panoramic view of the mountain can be seen clearly, as well as, an opportunity to watch the local people digging sand in Boyong river as the product of Mt. Merapi’s eruption as their life’s income.
Exploring traditional villages surrounding Kaliurang, as well as walk through variety of tropical plants , fruit, birds, and vegetation among the rain forest
Proceed to Yogyakarta Sultan Palace, built in 1756 by Sri Sultan Gamengku Buwono 1, in a grand and elegant Javanese Architectural style, lies in the center of municipality.
Continue to Tamansari Water Castle and batik factory.
Tour end with a visit to Kotagede, a neat, little old town of Yogyakarta which was once the seat of The Mighty Mataram Kingdom. This town is famous as the center of Silver work industry.

Highlights – “Senior High School Visit – Dinner & Ramayana Ballet”
Morning visit 3 high schools (special Art schools), each of majoring in Modern Music,
Traditional Music (Karawitan) and Art ( pottery etc ). Those 3 different schools are in the same site.
Return to Yogya – free program at Malioboro the fame shopping center
